Cat Burns shows off quirky house renovation after revealing ‘real reason’ she was banished from Celebrity Traitors final

CAT Burns is back home now after her stint on the Celebrity Traitors, and she seems to be enjoying it.

And what better timing as filming for the series is now all wrapped up and her home renovations have just been completed.

The musician, 25, made a post to Instagram today to share a snap of her home that’s “finally done now” and announced that she got to spend her first night in the newly decorated pad.

The photo of the interior on Cat’s Instagram story perfectly demonstrates her quirky style, with an array of bold furniture pieces.

A wiggly green framed mirror is definitely one of the standout items, leaning up against the room’s dusty pink walls.

The elegant ceiling lamps-come-chandeliers are another notable feature, complimenting the walls with their warmer tones.

Though an element of calm also washes over the room, punctuated by pops of grounding brown and sage hues in the rug and sofas, and the lightness of her linen curtains.

“My house is basically finally done now guys,” Cat wrote over the top of the pic.

“I spent my first night in it last night.

“If I wasn’t a homebody already, getting me out of the house now is gonna be a mission.

“UGH LOOK AT IT.”

Cat’s homebody glee comes just after she was brutally banished from The Celebrity Traitors in a nail-biting finale.

She had been a traitor throughout the whole programme, working alongside Alan Carr who ultimately won the show.

But in a recent interview, Cat shared the real reason she felt she was banished: because she was the only woman left who was banished, and Kate Garraway who left before her was falsely accused of being a traitor.

The performer said: “In hindsight, I think if we didn’t banish Kate before, I probably would have had a chance as there would have been two women left.

“Then they [the remaining contestants] could have been like, ‘is it Cat, is it Kate’.

“But because Kate was gone, I was the last one left so then they were like ‘it has to be her’.”

Though there was no rule in place saying how many people of a given gender were going to be a traitor, Cat still believes eliminating innocent faithful Kate first led to her downfall.

Before this point, Cat had raised very little suspicion about being a traitor.

Elsewhere in the interview, Cat admitted she hadn’t even watched the final of the BBC programme live as a result of performing a showcase after the release of her second album, How To Be Human, last week.
