About the Role
Cranfield University was awarded the Academic Provider (AP) contract with the UK MOD in November 2005 following a competitive procurement. The AP Contract covers the provision of education, largely at postgraduate level and enabling services including library and learner services, and the provision of alumni services in relation to AP Contract Courses.
You will support the Cranfield University Director of Finance and Operations (DFO) in the effective and efficient delivery of the AP Contract to the UK MOD. Acting on the direction of the DFO, you will undertake an extensive set of duties to enable the effective delivery of the financial reporting requirements and obligations of the AP Contract, along with some qualitative contractual deliverables. The role also requires joint working with the University’s Finance team embedded at Shrivenham in the delivery of a wide range of financial reports primarily connected with the AP Contract.
About You
You will be educated to degree level in a business administration related discipline, or significant experience working within an administrative or contract administration position. You will have the ability to network effectively and creatively, both internally and externally. Experience dealing with complex spreadsheets and a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering data is essential. You will have excellent and effective organisational and administrative skills.
