The Village of Frankfort has been awarded the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada.
Frankfort was recognized for its commitment to transparency, accountability and fiscal responsibility in financial reporting.
“We are honored to receive this Certificate of Achievement from the GFOA,” Mayor Keith Ogle said in a release. “This award is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our Finance Director Jenni Booth and her team, who consistently strive for excellence in financial reporting. It also underscores our commitment to transparency and accountability in managing the finances of our community.”
The certificate, the highest recognition in governmental accounting and financial reporting, is granted to organizations that meet and exceed the rigorous standards set by the GFOA.
